We have set up an Incubator/ Innovation hub in Harare which is designed with the goal of empowering, nurturing entrepreneurship and innovativeness in SMEs.

Incubator Hub Temporary Closure Notice
What is it
  • This is a place for SMEs to come in, work and share on innovative ideas for their existing or upcoming businesses. 
  • The incubator has programs that exists to capacitate and upskill existing entrepreneurs and start-ups.  This is to be achieved through the model which is based on pillars that include Ideation, Incubation   and Acceleration.  
  • The Hub provides a nurturing, instructive and supportive environment for entrepreneurs at different stages of business life cycle.

 

What do you get
  • Access to monthly seminars with guest speakers organised by the bank. 
  • Networking and   sharing best practice amongst peers  as  well  as with established businesses.
  • Potential  linkages  to  international  markets  and   financiers
  • Limited  co-working space for  start-ups and  entrepreneurs.
How to register
  • The incubator is open to all Stanbic and non-Stanbic SMEs  
  • Registration  is  done  at the  Incubator where one  will  complete a registration  form  
  • Bring your national ID for registration
  • To take  part in  the    various   programs an  interested  candidate  will  need to apply.  The  applications will  go through a  screening  and  selection  process   for  standardization . 
  • A cross functional team from the Bank and Partners will be  responsible  for  adjudication. 
  • Selected    candidates will undergo  capacity building  which  may  include  Incubation  for  a period of up to   6 months.  
  • Upon completing the relevant programs, candidates  are  linked  to  the Hub’s partners who can  provide  addition  support such as  funding  the operationalization of the  business.

  • The Incubator hub is located at  corner Herbert Chitepo and 6th Street, Harare.
  • The  Hub  is open  Monday to Friday from 0800hrs until 1800hrs and on Saturday from 0800hrs to 1200noon.
